
Singer Named Finalist for National Pitcher of the Year

LUBBOCK, Texas – Junior Brady Singer is one of five finalists for the 2018 National Pitcher of the Year Award, presented by the College Baseball Foundation.
Already this season, Singer was named the SEC Pitcher of the Year and Baseball America's National Player of the Year.
Singer is 10-1 with a 2.25 earned run average on the season. He struck out 92 with just 18 walks over 88.0 innings and limited opposing hitters to a .187 batting average against.
Even more impressive, Singer posted a 2.32 ERA with a .168 average against in nine Southeastern Conference starts, going 6-1 in the league.
The award, sponsored by Diamond, will be presented later this summer by the College Baseball Foundation.
