GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Where were you Monday night at 11:31?
Gators outfielder Austin Langworthy was rounding the bases at McKethan Stadium following his walk-off home run off the glove of Auburn outfielder Steven Williams, giving Florida a 3-2 win in the Gainesville Super Regional championship game.
When Langworthy stepped on the plate, the Gators were officially headed back to Omaha for a fourth consecutive trip to the College World Series.
In one of the greatest moments in Gators baseball history – heck, it doesn't seem a stretch to say one of the most memorable moments in UF sports history – McKethan Stadium and social media lit up in unison.
The writers in the press box soon dashed to the postgame press conference to question the participants on a night that none – winners or losers – will forget.
