
Zhang Earns Second All-America Honors

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gators sophomore Andy Zhang has been selected as a PING All-America Honorable Mention, Thursday.
This is Zhang's second All-America honor, following his Golfweek Honorable Mention selection last week. He is the third consecutive Gators golfer to be awarded both Golfweek and PING All-America honors, following in the footsteps of Sam Horsfield (2016, 2017) and Alejandro Tosti (2017).
Zhang (71.10) led Florida in stroke average this year while picking up seven top-25 finishes and four top-10 finishes.
Zhang, a finalist for the Fred Haskins Player of the Year Award, became the first player in program history to take home both the SEC Championship and NCAA Regional individual championships.
A total of 21 golfers were named PING Honorable Mention All-America, including the following:
