
Gators Announce 2018-19 Schedule

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Head men's golf coach JC Deacon announced the 2018-19 schedule Monday.
The team will play in four fall tournaments, with two in September and two in October. The spring season consists of five tournaments, beginning the first week of February and going through the middle of April. Post season play will continue through April and May.
The Gators will begin the fall season in Dalton, Georgia playing in the Carpet Capital Invitational, hosted by Georgia Tech, September 7-9.They will then return to Dallas, Texas to defend their title at the Trinity Forest Invitational, hosted by Southern Methodist, September 23-25.
September will finish and October will begin with the Gators return to the Nike Collegiate Invitational September 30-October 2, hosted by TCU. Florida finished fifth in the tournament last season. The team will close out the fall portion of their schedule at the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational October 21-23, hosted by UCF, where they tied for second last season.
Florida will open the spring season February 4-5 at the Sea Best Invitational at TPC Sawgrass, hosted by UCF. They will then return to Gainesville to host the Gator Invitational, February 16-17 at Mark Bostick Golf Course.
March will begin with the team traveling to Las Vegas for the Southern Highlands Invitational, hosted by UNLV March 3-5, where they will look to defend their title from last season. The Gators will close out March at The Goodwin Tournament, hosted by Stanford in Palo Alto, California, March 29-31. Florida will finish their spring season in Columbus, Ohio at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate April 19-20, hosted by Ohio State at Scarlett Course.
The SEC Tournament will be April 24-28 at Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Georgia, where the Gators will look to improve upon their third place finish from the 2017-18 season. NCAA Regionals will follow, beginning May 13, and NCAA Championships will begin May 24.
