
SEC Announces Men's Basketball League Schedule

Florida will open its 2018-19 men's basketball Southeastern Conference schedule against South Carolina, meeting the Gamecocks in Gainesville on Jan. 5.
The SEC announced its league schedule on Friday, and the Gators are slated for a regular season finale on the road at Kentucky.
"The SEC is going to be one of the toughest, if not the toughest, conferences in the country again this year," head coach Mike White said. "We know every night, we have to bring our best to have a chance."
The Gators will host five Saturday games and four midweek games in SEC play, with Senior Night coming on March 6 against LSU.
Florida's February slate includes a stretch of four road dates in a five-game span with a Vanderbilt home date on Feb. 13 preceded by trips to Auburn and Tennessee and followed by visits to Alabama and LSU.
Times and television information will be announced at a later date.
Three- and four-game mini plans go on sale through the Gator Ticket Office on Tuesday, Sept. 18. Kentucky and Michigan State tickets are only available to purchase with mini plan packages for non-season ticket holders.

The Gators have also added an exhibition game on Oct. 30 vs. Florida Southern.
