GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The NFL started week three with a total of 47 Gators, on 26 of the 32 teams, as teams continue their quest for the Lombardi Trophy.
Jarrad Davis, the second-year linebacker, started for the second straight week for the Lions. Davis led the Detroit defense in tackles for the second straight week, with five total tackles, four solo. He added a pass defense and helped the Lions hold the Patriots to just 133 passing yards.
The Buccaneers host the Steelers in the Monday night showdown, as six former Florida players appear on rosters. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. Eastern Time.
