SEC Baseball TV Schedule Announced
Wednesday, January 30, 2019 | Baseball
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Beginning March 12, ESPN networks will combine to carry 94 Southeastern Conference baseball games, including every game of the 2019 SEC Tournament in Hoover.
Florida is scheduled to make a league-high 13 appearances on network television in 2019. In addition to UF's games on network television, all of Florida's home games will air online via SEC Network+ and all conference games will be available via SEC Network+.
The SEC starts the season with eight teams ranked in the preseason Top 25, the most of any conference. With 75 games on the network throughout the spring, SEC Thursday Night Baseball will be in full swing on ESPNU and SEC Network, featuring a preseason Top 25 team in all but two weeks of the regular season. In addition, SEC Network will continue its tradition of airing a Bases Loaded whip-around special set for the final Friday of the season, and will join forces with ESPNU to televise the final weekend of SEC action, May 16-18.
This year's schedule also includes several television wildcard selections, allowing the SEC Network the opportunity to determine the best television matchup at a later date. The schedule closes out with SEC Network airing the entirety of the SEC Baseball Tournament May 21-25, outside of the Championship game on ESPN2 on May 26.
ESPN will present more than 800 NCAA baseball games during the 2019 regular season across ESPN networks, with 17 college conferences highlighted in ESPN's industry-leading coverage. During the postseason, on top of carrying five conference championship games and the entire Southeastern Conference tournament, 153 games will be telecast across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, SEC Network and the Longhorn Network and available on the ESPN App. In addition, the ESPN App will exclusively stream more than 450 games in 2019.
The Gators open the 2019 season on Feb. 15 against Long Beach State at McKethan Stadium. Season tickets and Flex Passes for the 2019 Gator Baseball season are on sale now and can be purchased online through FloridaGators.com or by calling the Gator Ticket Office at 1-800-34-GATOR from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
