Gators Rank 3rd in USA Today Preseason Poll

GAINESVILLE, Fla.--The Florida baseball team ranks third in the USA Today Coaches Poll, the latest preseason poll to be released.

Florida is one of eight Southeastern Conference schools in the Top 25 and one of four SEC schools in the Top 10, along with No. 1 LSU, No. 2 Vanderbilt and No. 10 Ole Miss.

The Gators return 15 letter winners from the team that finished in third place at the 2018 College World Series. Florida welcomes in the fifth-ranking recruiting class according to Baseball America.

The Gators open the 2019 season on Feb. 15 against Long Beach State at McKethan Stadium. Season tickets and Flex Passes for the 2019 Gator Baseball season are on sale now and can be purchased online through FloridaGators.com or by calling the Gator Ticket Office at 1-800-34-GATOR from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
