Lauren Waidner and Jenny Kim both competed as individuals at the Pat Bradley Invitational where they finished tied for fifth and tied for 19th, respectively.
LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. – Lauren Waidner and Jenny Kim took the course for the first time this fall season at the Pat Bradley Invitational where they both recorded the highest finishes of their collegiate careers.
Waidner was near perfect to open the event, carding six birdies and just one bogey to finish the first round with a career-low 5-under 67. The junior continued to play steady throughout the next two rounds, shooting 2 over then even, to finish at 3 under overall and tied for fifth on the leaderboard.
Kim also shot under par in the first round of the Invitational with a 2 under. The sophomore recorded a collective 4 over through her next two rounds to end the event at 2 over and tied for 19th on the leaderboard.
Waidner and Kim now return to Gainesville with the rest of the Florida women's golf team to prepare for the imminent spring season.
