
CBS Elects to Use Six-Day Window for Florida-South Carolina Broadcast Time

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference announced the television schedule for SEC week 8 games on Monday, as Florida's matchup with SEC East foe South Carolina will be determined upon a six-day selection on either CBS or ESPN for next Saturday, Oct. 19.
CBS has elected to use a six-day selection for October 19, as the games being held for selection are Florida at South Carolina, LSU at Mississippi State and Kentucky at Georgia. These games will be televised as follows:
Florida at South Carolina: CBS at 3:30 ET, ESPN at Noon ET or ESPN at 6:00 ET
LSU at Miss. State: CBS at 3:30 ET, ESPN at Noon ET or ESPN at 6:00 ET
Kentucky at Georgia: CBS at 3:30 ET or ESPN at 6:00 ET
The Gators return to Columbia, S.C. after defeating the Gamecocks in comeback-fashion last season in the Swamp, 35-31. The contest marks the 40th meeting between Florida and South Carolina, as the Gators hold the all-time series lead 27-9-3. The Gators have won three of the past four matchups against South Carolina, though, in their last meeting at Williams-Brice Stadium in 2017, the Gamecocks came out on top over Florida, 28-20.
The No. 7 Florida Gators travel to Death Valley this Saturday for another highly anticipated top-10 matchup with No. 5 LSU, slated for an 8:00 p.m. kickoff on ESPN.
