The Gators' Last Outing:
Florida claimed its second consecutive win versus a top-15 opponent with Sunday's 3-1 result over then No. 12 Texas A&M. In the win, Florida scored early when junior Madison Alexander successfully converted a penalty kick at 6:06. Senior Vanessa Kara scored a goal in each half. Her first came at 17:00 when she hit a 12-yard shot off the back heel pass from Cassidy Lindley. Senior Sammie Betters, who also assisted on Kara's first goal, got the primary assist on Kara's second in the 67th minute. Betters sent the ball from Parker Roberts immediately to Kara who was making a run through the box. She one-touched it in from 12 yards for her third double goal effort of the last six matches. TAMU broke up the clean sheet in the 74th minute when Taylor Ziemer scored on a 15-yard left-footed shot.

Weekly Honors for Vanessa Kara:

Last Meeting Between Gators versus Mississippi:
These two teams last met to open 2017 SEC regular-season play, with the Gators taking a 1-0 home win off previously unbeaten No. 24 Mississippi. Melanie Monteagudo's cross found Mayra Pelayo in the middle of the box. Her left-footed swipe from nine yards scored at 4:43. That match was the first appearance of 2017 for Gator goalkeeper Kaylan Marckese, who was sidelined for the first six matches with a hand injury.

Last Season's Meeting Between Gators at Kentucky:
Florida won 6-0 at Kentucky on Sept. 20, 2018. Four different Gators contributed to UF's largest goal output since 2016, including three goals by senior Laís Araujo. She scored the first three goals in an 18-minute span – marking the Gators' quickest hat-trick in 17 seasons. Senior Alyssa Howell finished the first-half scoring, chesting the cross from Cassidy Lindley with less than a minute remaining.

Second half scoring began in the 65th minute when sophomore Madison Alexander put in the cross from Melanie Monteagduo. Senior Mayra Pelayo recorded her 10th collegiate goal when her sliding foot put in the deep cross from Sammie Betters in the 81st minute.
