GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Ten years is a long time, and the Gators ended their decade of disappointment with a resounding win over the Seminoles, their first home victory in the series since 2009. In doing so, they also took a critical step forward in the development of the program and laid claim to the unofficial title of "state champions."
