GAINESVILLE, Fla. – After leading all league competitors with her 39.675 all-around in last weekend's competition, Florida's
Trinity Thomas is the Southeastern Conference Gymnast of the Week, the league office announced this morning.

Thomas' been honored in each of the league's last seven SEC weekly awards lists. This is her third SEC Gymnast of the Week award. The SEC Freshman of the Week has gone to Thomas four times.

Thomas' All-Around Win:
- Used the SEC's high all-around total of the weekend (39.675) to claim third consecutive and fourth overall title in UF's loss versus No. 7 Georgia. Thomas now has three all-around totals among the nation's top-16 for 2019 (39.70 – twice, 39.675 – Feb. 22)
- Matched her best of 9.975 for third time to claim fourth uneven bars win
- Equaled her best of 9.975 for the third consecutive week to win fourth floor exercise title.
- Her six nearly-perfect 9.975s is the most ever by a Gator freshman (previous record of four by Bridget Sloan in 2013).
- Ranked No. 2 in nation for all-around and floor, No. T7 in the nation on bars and No. T9 for beam
- Leads Florida in 2019 with 15 event titles.
- After UF-UGA dual, traveled to Sarasota, Fla., for U.S. National Team camp

UP NEXT FOR THE GATORS:
Florida seeks the SEC regular-season trophy at Friday's meet. A win at No. 20 Arkansas gives Florida at least a share of the 2019 SEC regular-season title.

All SEC regular-season competition ends Friday. Both Florida and Auburn
enter its league finale with 5-1 SEC records. If both UF and AU win, the two teams share the 2019 regular-season title. No. 12 Auburn is at No. 8 Alabama on Friday.
