STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The 16th-ranked Florida Gators are back on the road this weekend, this time facing off against No. 17 Stony Brook.
Opening draw is set for 11:30 a.m. at Lavalle Stadium. The game will be streamed on Portal Stretch Internet.

The Gators dropped their last decision in a tough 13-11 battle with No. 9 Princeton, while Stony Brook is coming off a 14-2 win against Cornell.
This is the final ranked opponent the Gators will face in their non-conference schedule. Florida has had one of the most challenging non-conference schedules in the country and holds a 1-6 record against IWLCA opponents.
Scouting the Seawolves
No. 17 Stony Brook currently sits 4-3 in the 2019 campaign and the Seawolves are 1-2 against teams in the IWLCA Top-25. Stony Brook defeated No. 13 Colorado (15-5), but fell to No. 8 Princeton (14- 15) and No. 16 Denver (7-11)
This is the seventh meeting between Florida and Stony Brook. The Gators hold the 5-1 series advantage, including a 2-0 record in Stony Brook, N.Y.
Stony Brook is led on the offensive front by Ally Kennedy, who has recorded 26 goals on the year. Taryn Ohlmiller has dished out 16 assists and scored 15 goals of her own to lead the team in points. Siobhan Rafferty and Nicole Barretta have added 15 and 13 goals, respectively. Ally Kennedy has notched 39 draw controls this season, followed by 24 from Keri McCarthy. Anna Tesoriero has made her presence known in the cage this season, holding a .483 saves percentage through seven games. She has recorded 57 saves in her 420 minutes.
