
Sold Out: Garth Brooks to Set Crowd Record for Ben Hill Griffin Stadium Concert

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The first concert in 25 years at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium will also be the largest concert crowd in the history of The Swamp.
The Garth Brooks concert on April 20 at 7 p.m. is sold out with more than 75,500 tickets sold. Presented by Amazon Music, the concert is scheduled rain or shine.
Brooks, the 12-time CMA-ACM Entertainer of the Year, is coming to Gainesville as part of his Stadium Tour. The tour will begin this Saturday, March 9th at the Dome at America's Center in St. Louis, Mo.
Ben Hill Griffin Stadium last hosted a concert on Nov. 27, 1994 when the Rolling Stones visited Gainesville as part of their Voodoo Lounge Tour.
Ben Hill Griffin Stadium also hosted Lynyrd Skynyrd as part of the 2007 Gator Growl, UF's annual Homecoming event. Other notable concerts at the stadium over the years include The Eagles (1980), Jimmy Buffett (1980) and The Beach Boys (1977).
