Florida had its first undefeated week of the season, going 4-0 with a midweek win over #21 Florida State on Tuesday and sweeping Alabama over the weekend … Extended its winning streak over in-state rival FSU to 10 games with a 4-2 win on Tuesday night in Jacksonville … The sweep over Alabama brought the Gators to within one game of .500 in league play after a 1-5 start through the first two weekends … Brady McConnell led the offense with a .529 average, two homers and five RBI … Austin Langworthy had his best week of the year, hitting .400 with a homer, two doubles and four RBI … Kendrick Calilao had three RBI and continues to lead the Gators with 32 on the season … Nolan Crisp turned in his second strong start in a row; he didn't allow a run through the first five innings against FSU before giving up two in the sixth … Tommy Mace pitched the first complete game of his career and limited Alabama to one run on just three hits, all singles … Hunter Ruth turned in a career-best outing on Sunday against the Tide; called on in the second inning after starter Jack Leftwich left with a blister, Ruth pitched 7.2 innings with one run allowed on four hits.PLAYER OF THE WEEK

- Earned the W in the Gators 3-1 win on Friday; improved to 5-2 on the season

- He has now pitched into the seventh inning in six of seven starts and leads the team with 47.1 innings on the season

- The freshman was outstanding over two appearances; earning the win out of the bullpen against #21 Florida State on Tuesday and again on Saturday against Alabama
- Limited hitters to a .077 average against over eight innings with only one unearned run allowed
- On Tuesday vs. FSU, took the mound trailing 2-1 and held the Seminoles scoreless the final 3.1 innings to allow the Gators comeback win; struck out five with no walks and just one hit allowed
- On Saturday vs. Alabama, took over with a 5-1 lead and pitched 4.2 innings with only one hit allowed and an unearned run; struck out five with one walk
- On the season, Scott is 3-1 with a 1.71 earned run average in nine appearances (21.0 innings)
