Florida and Jacksonville set to face off on Thursday at 7 p.m.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The No. 17 Florida Gators are on the road for their final non-conference game on Thursday, a bout with the Jacksonville Dolphins.
Opening draw is set for 7 p.m. at the Jacksonville Lacrosse Center. The game will be streamed through ESPN+.

This is the final non-conference game of an incredibly challenging Florida schedule this season. The Gators hold a 5-6 record against teams outside of the American Athletic Conference and have the fourth-toughest schedule to this point in the season, according to the NCAA.
Current RPI
The first RPI of 2019 was released on Tuesday and the Gators sit at No. 15 in the rankings. Boston College is first, followed by Maryland, Virginia, Syracuse and North Carolina. The Gators have faced seven teams in the Top-25 thus far. Â
Scouting the Dolphins
Jacksonville currently sits at a 10-2 overall record and a 3-0 record in the ASun conference. The Dolphins are 0-1 against ranked opponents this season, falling to then No. 24 Southern California, 15-10.
This is the eighth meeting between the two squads, with Florida leading the series 7-0, including a 3-0 record on the road.
Jacksonville is led on the offensive front by Haley Ciklin, who has scored 26 goals this season. The Dolphins have four other scorers who have notched at least 20 goals this year: Alyssa Arnold (23), Lillie Miller (21), Lauren Phillips (20), Jenny Kinsey (20). McKenna Rushford has controlled the draw circle for the Dolphins, coming up with 41 draw wins. Molly Brock has added 37, while Megan Prescott has come up with 23 draw control wins. Dayna Martinetto has played in all 12 games this season in the cage, holding a 10-2 record. Her 85 saves in 635 minutes gives the freshman a save percentage of .470.
