Gators Sit 18th in IWLCA Poll

Florida moves to No. 18 in the IWLCA poll after two wins
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – After a 2-0 week against Jacksonville and East Carolina, the Gators moved to No. 18 in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Poll, as announced Monday.
UF defeated nonconference opponent Jacksonville 19-13 before topping East Carolina 20-10 at Donald R. Dizney Stadium. With the win over the Pirates, the Gators secured a spot in the inaugural AAC tournament.
Florida currently sits at the nation's fifth toughest schedule to this point in the season. Florida faced eight ranked opponents in the non-conference slate and is 9-6 through the first 15 games.
The Gators are back in action on Saturday when the team travels to Storrs, Conn. to face UConn. Opening draw is set for 12 p.m. at the George J. Sherman Family Sports Complex.
