Allen to Compete in Professional Basketball Combine
Monday, May 20, 2019 | Men's Basketball
KeVaughn Allen is set to compete in the Professional Basketball Combine (PBC) at the Mamba Sports Academy on May 21 and 22. The PBC is a secondary opportunity for prospects to work out for professional scouts. In its two years of existence, the PBC has seen over 20 participants earn NBA Summer League invitations.
Allen will be the second Gator to participate in the PBC, after Canyon Barry competed in the inaugural event in 2017. Barry played overseas for a year before competing with the Iowa Wolves of the NBA G League this past season.
Allen wrapped his Florida career as the Gators' sixth all-time leading scorer with 1,723 career points, averaging 12.1 points per game in his career, and finishing with 250 3-point field goals, also sixth in school history.
The event takes place May 21-22 in Newbury Park, Calif., just outside Los Angeles.
