Gators Sit 19th in Latest IWLCA Poll

After clinching the AAC conference tournament championship, the Florida lacrosse team ranks 19th in the nation
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – After clinching the inaugural American Athletic Conference tournament championship, the Florida lacrosse team moved to No. 19 in this week's Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association poll – as announced Monday.
The Gators defeated Cincinnati 15-9 at Sheakley Athletics Center to hoist the first-ever American Athletic Conference tournament trophy.
Florida currently sits at the nation's seventh toughest schedule through to this point in the season. UF enters the NCAA Tournament with a 13-6 overall record.
The Gators are back in action on Friday for the first round of the NCAA Tournament against Johns Hopkins at the University of North Carolina. Opening draw has yet to be determined for the opening round game.
