Women's Golf Unveils 2019-20 Schedule

Head coach Emily Bastel Glaser announced the Gators’ 2019-20 season schedule Thursday.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The University of Florida head women's golf coach Emily Bastel Glaser announced the Gators' 2019-20 season schedule Thursday.
"As in years past, our goal is to play in all corners of the country and on golf courses that we feel will make us a better team and prepare us for the postseason," said Bastel Glaser. "Our schedule provides our players the opportunity to see the best competition week in and week out and test their games against the best players in the world.
"It's important that we give our players the best opportunity to succeed while at the University of Florida and this schedule will help our players in accomplishing their goals."
UF opens its 2019-20 campaign in Charleston, S.C., at the Cougar Classic where it looks to defend its title from last season. Hosted by the College of Charleston, the Cougar Classic is scheduled for September 8-10. Florida then heads to Toledo, Ohio for Toledo's Glass City Invitational, taking place September 16-17.
The Gators end September and begin October in Chicago, Ill., at the Windy City Classic. This two-day event is hosted by Northwestern and runs from September 30 to October 1. UF closes out its fall schedule in the Golden State at the Stanford Intercollegiate from October 11-13.
Following the Stanford Intercollegiate, UF takes a short break before its spring schedule begins in February.
Starting with Ohio State's Northrop Grumman, the Gators head to Palos Verdes, Calif., from February 9-11. Five days later, Florida travels to New Orleans, La., for the Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate hosted by Tulane from February 16-18.
The Gators then return home where they host the 47th edition of the Florida Gator Invitational at the Mark Bostick Golf Course from March 7-8. Next, Florida visits Athens, Ga., from March 20-22 for Georgia's Liz Murphey Invitational.
Florida rounds out its regular season at the Grove Cup in Oxford, Miss. Hosted by Ole Miss, the Grove Cup runs from April 7-8.
The SEC Championship kicks off postseason play and will be held from April 15-19 in Birmingham, Ala. NCAA Regionals follow, beginning on May 11, and NCAA Championships start on May 22.
