Manzalini, Perez Featured in European Ladies' Team Championship

Clara Manzalini and Marta Perez are both set to represent their home countries in the 2019 European Ladies’ Team Championship beginning today.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Clara Manzalini and Marta Perez are both set to represent their home countries in the 2019 European Ladies' Team Championship beginning today.
Originally from Milan, Italy, Manzalini excelled in her rookie season with the Gators. Manzalini was the only Florida golfer to compete in every event during the 2018-19 season. Over 33 rounds, the rising sophomore notched a 73.55 stroke average, earning her way to All-SEC Second Team and SEC All-Freshman Team honors.
Perez will face her Gator teammate as a member of Spain's lineup. Through her first three years with Florida, Perez has accumulated numerous honors, including being named to the 2019 All-SEC Second Team, 2018 All-SEC Second Team and 2017 SEC All-Freshman Team. This past season, Perez led the Gators with six top-10 finishes and tied for second individually at the SEC Championship.
The European Ladies' Team Championship begins with two rounds of qualifying stroke play and will finish with three days of match play, ending on July 13. Only the top eight teams from stroke play will advance to match play.
