GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Gators held their seventh practice of preseason camp Friday morning and then several members of the defensive line met with reporters.

News has been light from camp but that doesn't mean there's not some interesting topics being written about by the UF beat corps.
Here are a few stories related to the Gators and a couple from South Florida as the Hurricanes prepare for their debut under first-year head coach Manny Diaz, a former assistant under Dan Mullen at Mississippi State:
