In Florida's lone 2018 preseason match, UF defeated Florida Gulf Coast 4-0 in Fort Myers. Four different Gators scored, with the three goals scored in the run of play came off headers. Florida scored early when
Parker Roberts put in
Briana Solis' corner kick at 1:17.
Cassidy Lindley drew a foul and then converted the penalty kick in the 59th minute.
Kit Loferski played a part in the final two goals. She sent the cross that
Madison Alexander scored in the 68th minute. Then Loferski headed in the
Sara Wilson cross to finish the scoring in the 84th minute.

Last Meeting Between Gators-Hurricanes:
Florida finished a three-match 2015 season opening road stretch with a 4-2 win at Miami. After a scoreless opening half, the two teams scored five goals in a nine-minute span. Miami scored first in the 56
th minute, but
Savannah Jordan tied the match in the 58
th minute and then put UF ahead in the 61
st minute. The Hurricanes tied the match again in the 62
nd minute.
Sarah Troccoli scored her first collegiate goal to put the Gators ahead in the 66
th minute. Jordan finished off her hat-trick in the 85
th minute.
