Florida seeks its ninth consecutive win, which would mark the program's longest win streak since the school-record 22-game streak set during the 2008 and '09 seasons.

1ST QUARTER
Florida 7, Towson 0 (9:28) -- For the second consecutive week, Gators QB Kyle Trask connects with TE Kyle Pitts for a touchdown pass on the opening drive. Trask's 5-yard TD throw to Pitts capped a 12-play, 82-yard drive that ate up 5 minutes, 32 seconds off the clock.

NOTES: Florida WR Freddie Swain (undisclosed), S Shawn Davis (undisclosed), DL Jabari Zuniga (ankle) and CB CJ Henderson (ankle) are not playing due to injury ... Trask was 9-for-9 for 102 yards and a TD in the opening quarter ... Towson QB Tom Flacco led the Tigers on a 12-play, 57-yard drive on their first possession but the drive ended when Gators senior LB David Reese recovered a fumble.
2ND QUARTER
Florida 10, Towson 0 (14:55) -- Evan McPherson kicked a 42-yard field goal on the first play of the second quarter to extend Florida's lead. The Gators drove 50 yards in eight plays following Reese's fumble recovery.

Florida 17, Towson 0 (3:46) -- Trask plunged in from 1-yard to put an exclamation point on the Gators' 8-play, 80-yard drive that covered 4:08 on the game clock.

NOTES: Trask finished 13 of 13 for 139 yards and a TD in the first half ... Sophomore RB Dameon Pierce snapped off a season-best 31-yard run in the second quarter ... Flacco, 8 of 14 for 82 yards in the first half, moved into eighth all-time in career passing yards for Towson ... Towson K Aidan O'Neill, who is first in school history with 57 career field goals, missed a 32-yarder with 7:54 left in the first half. Despite a pair of 12-play drives -- one for 57 yards, one for 69 -- the Tigers came up empty on their first two possessions ... UF senior WR Josh Hammond returned punts with Swain inactive.

Florida 24, Towson 0 (9:19) -- Florida took over at Towson's 7-yard line after T.J. Slaton deflected a Flacco pass and Jonathan Greenard intercepted it and returned it 16 yards. Two plays later, Trask and Pitts connected for a 7-yard touchdown and their second score of the game. Pitts caught a 5-yard TD pass from Franks in the first quarter.

Florida 31, Towson 0 (4:50) -- The Gators have broken this one open as Pierce goes untouched off the left side for a 37-yard touchdown run. Pierce's run capped a 6-play, 66-yard drive in 2:28.

NOTES: On Towson's first drive of the second half, the Tigers faced a third-and-19 and Flacco's deep pass was intercepted by Gators S Donovan Stiner ... Trask's 15-for-15 start gave him a school-record 18 straight completions, breaking the record of 17 set by Chris Leak against Wyoming in 2005. Trask completed his final three passes in last week's win over Tennessee ... Pierce has 84 yards on six carries after this 37-yard TD run late in the third quarter.
4TH QUARTER
Florida 38, Towson 0 (9:47) -- Florida padded its lead on a 2-yard TD pass from Emory Jones to freshman TE Keon Zipperer, capping a 7-play, 69-yard drive following a blocked kick (see below).

NOTES: Gators DL Adam Shuler credited with a block on O'Neill's 47-yard FGA with 14:08 left to play. O'Neill is 0-for-2 today after entering game needing only two FGs to tie Colonial Athletic Association's all-time record ... Towson backup QB Ryan Stover replaced Flacco midway in the fourth quarter. Flacco went 16-for-27 for 157 yards and two interceptions.
