Seven Gators Named to U.S. National Team

GAINESVILLE, Fla.- The 2019-20 U.S. National Team, released on Wednesday by USA Swimming, will feature seven current or former University of Florida men's swimmers on the roster.
Clark Beach, Mitch D'Arrigo, Caeleb Dressel, Robert Finke, Brennan Gravley, Ryan Lochte and Kieran Smith all secured selections and will be featured on the team for the upcoming calendar year.
The team of 115 swimmers is made up of the top six men and women swimmers with the highest ranking in each individual Olympic event at USA Swimming or International Swimming Federation (FINA) sanctioned events from Jan. 1-Aug. 25.
As a whole, the Gators reeled in 10 summer gold medals and sit at the top of the rankings in six events, highlighted by three top times at both the 2019 Phillips 66 Nationals and the 2019 FINA World Championships by Dressel.
