Men's Golf Adds All-American Transfer Yuxin Lin

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Florida men's golf team will welcome Yuxin Lin to the roster, head coach J.C. Deacon announced Monday.

Lin, who is currently No. 18 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, will transfer from the University of Southern California after a freshman campaign where he co-led the Trojans with a 70.67 stroke average and posted a team-best four top 15 finishes. USC did not compete in the fall of 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions in the Pac-12.

The Beijing native is expected to be immediately eligible for spring competition with the Gators.

Adding Yuxin Lin to our already very talented roster is huge for the Gators. The best part about it is how well he fits into our culture. He's ready to work hard and wants to win with his teammates. As soon as we started speaking, I knew he was made to be a Gator.
