Gators Climb Three Spots on Day Two

The Florida women's golf team sits in 11th place heading into the final round of the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge.
PALOS VERDES, Calif. – The Florida women's golf team sits in 11th place heading into the final round of the Northrop Grumman Regional after shooting 2-under 282 on Monday.  
 
Duke is currently in the lead at 4 under overall after firing off an 11 under in the second round. Florida and Duke are two of just four teams in the 16-team field that shot under par on the day.
 
Addie Baggarly led the Gators through the second round of the event, tying her career-low with a 4-under 67. The junior only recorded one bogey throughout the round and carded a perfect back nine with five birdies. Baggarly is now 6 over through 36 holes and tied for 38th on the individual leaderboard.
 
Senior Marta Perez had four birdies throughout the second round and came in at even par on the day, sitting in a tie for 21st at 3 over overall. Marina Escobar also shot even through the round, putting her at 8 over overall and tied for 45th individually.
 
Clara Manzalini rounded out the Gators' counting scores on Monday, coming in at 2 over to put her at 6 over collectively and tied for 38th on the leaderboard.
 
The third and final round of the tournament is scheduled to begin tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. ET.
