
Group of No. 11 Gators Head to Athens for Last Chance Meet

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Eighteen University of Florida men's swimmers will head to the Bulldog Invitational Last Chance Meet on Feb. 29-March 1 at the Gabrielsen Natatorium in Athens, Ga.
The meet will serve as the last opportunity for the Gators to meet National Collegiate Athletic Association A-cut and B-cut qualifying times ahead of the 2020 NCAA Championship meet on March 25-28 in Indianapolis, Ind.
Action will begin on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with the preliminary round of the 200 free relay. 23 more events will follow.
The finals for same events will begin at 5:00 p.m.
On Sunday, the competition will again begin at 10:00 a.m., with the finals getting pushed up an hour for a 4:00 p.m. start time.

In total, 18 UF swimmers will compete in 46 individual events, as well as the men's 200 medley relay on Saturday.
Florida won its eighth-straight and 41st overall SEC Championship last week at the 2020 SEC Championships with 1,194 points over the five-day meet.

The team will then come together for their last competition of the season at the 2020 NCAA Championships on March 25-28 in Indianapolis, Ind.
