Ekevwo Named SEC Men’s Runner of the Week

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida sprinter Raymond Ekevwo was named this week's SEC Men's Runner of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
The Nigeria native established himself as the NCAA leader in the 60 meters after clocking a new personal-best time of 6.53 seconds last week at this year's Razorback Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. Ekevwo's time ranks third in school history.
Ekevwo's is the third SEC weekly award of the year for the Gators. See below for a full list of Gators who have been named to SEC honors this indoor season.
