Gators Complete Round One in California

The second round of the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge is scheduled to begin on Monday at 12 p.m. ET.
PALOS VERDES, Calif. – The Florida women's golf team struggled to find its footing on Sunday, currently sitting in a tie for 14th at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge.

Due to inclement weather, play in the first round was suspended while three groups were still on the course. Those groups are scheduled to finish on Monday morning before the second round begins.

The Gators shot a collective 22 over on the day with senior Marta Perez leading the way at 3 over. Auburn is currently the only team under par, leading the field at 1 under.

Florida will look to climb the leaderboard in tomorrow's second round beginning at 12 p.m. ET.
