Florida heads to Hanover, N.H. to take on No. 15 Dartmouth.

HANOVER, N.H. – The No. 5 Florida lacrosse team hits the road to face No. 15 Dartmouth on Tuesday in a Top-25 battle.
Opening draw is set for 3 p.m. at Scully-Fahey Field.

This is the sixth meeting between Florida and Dartmouth, with the Gators holding the 5-0 series advantage, including a 1-0 record in Hanover, N.H. These two squads have not faced off since Feb. 27. 2016, when Florida won 16-6 down in Gainesville, Fla.
The matchup with the No. 15 Big Green is the fifth game for the Gators against an IWLCA Top-25 opponent this season. The Gators currently sit at 3-1 against ranked opponents, with victories over then-No. 1 Maryland, then-No. 3 Stony Brook and then-No. 18 Colorado.
The rest of the way, Florida faces three more IWLCA opponents in No. 1 North Carolina, No. 11 Princeton and No. 17 Navy.
UF is coming off a 12-10 victory against No. 3 Stony Brook, while Dartmouth topped Ivy League foe Brown, 12-11, in its latest matchup.
Scouting the Big Green
- Dartmouth currently sits at No. 15 in the IWLCA poll after starting the year 3-0
- The Big Green kicked off the 2020 season defeating then-No. 13 UMass, 15-11. Dartmouth then followed with victories against Boston University (16-8) and Brown (12-11) to remain perfect through three games
- Dartmouth is led on the offensive end by Katie Bourque (11 g, 4a) and Ellie Carson (12g, 1a), who have notched 15 and 13 points, respectively.
- Bourque leads the Big Green in the draw circle, coming up with 13 draws in the first three contests. Veta Mayer has also added 11 draws on the year
- Defensively, Dartmouth has caused 26 turnovers as a squad, led by four apiece from Kate White and Natalee Palmer
- Kiera Vrindten has led the Big Green in the cage this season, recording all three wins. She is averaging 7.33 saves per game with a .423 save percentage. The senior has recorded a 9.92 GAA to kick off 2020
