A trio of Gator gymnasts - Sierra Alexander, Maegan Chant and Megan Skaggs - graduate with honors.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – A trio of Gator gymnasts – Sierra Alexander, Maegan Chant and Megan Skaggs - graduate with honors today. Alexander and Chant graduated cum laude and Skaggs graduates summa cum laude.
University of Florida summer commencement is virtual due to COVID-19.
All three earned Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-America and Academic All-SEC honors every possible season.

All three earned Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-America and Academic All-SEC honors every possible season.
Gator Grad Quick Notes:
- Alexander turned in a perfect 9.95 (maximum value) for her Yurchenko full vault in two of the final three competitions of 2020. Her last perfect mark at Penn State landed on SportsCenter's Top 10.
- Injuries limited Chant's competitive appearances as a Gator. The former Canadian National Team member competed in several meets of 2017 season, appearing in vault and/or uneven bars lineups.
- Skaggs shared the 2019 Southeastern Conference balance beam title and also earned All-America honors on uneven bars that season. This Gator grad is back for her senior season in 2021, becoming the first since Maranda Smith in 2011 to compete for UF after earning bachelor's degree. Skaggs will start studies for her master's degree in management at UF's College of Business this fall.
