
Stark Named SEC Women’s Co-Runner of the Week

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida hurdler Grace Stark was named this week's SEC Women's Co-Runner of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.
The sophomore, who owns the under-20 world record and was named the SEC Freshman of the Year in 2020, posted an NCAA-leading time of 7.96 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles Friday at this year's Tyson Invitational inside the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Her season-best time ranks tied for 11th in the world.
The Gators will be back in action next week as they return to Arkansas for this year's SEC Indoor Track and Field Championships. The championship meet will take place over the course of three days, from Feb. 25-27.
