GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 6 Florida softball team continues its home stand at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium with the Bubly Invitational this Friday through Sunday. The Gators welcome Charlotte (2-1) and Georgia Southern to Gainesville and will play five total games over the three-day span.

The Gators (3-0) recently defeated Jacksonville 1-0 in walk-off fashion Wednesday evening at KSP Stadium.

For this weekend, Florida will open the Bubly Invitational Friday at 6 p.m. Georgia Southern, then will finish Saturday and Sunday with back-to-back games against the Eagles and the 49ers each day.

Notable Notes
- The Gators hold an overall record of 2-0 against Georgia Southern. The Eagles have yet to play a game this season as their first four games were rained out.

- Florida will face Charlotte for the first time in program history this weekend. The Charlotte 49ers won their series against Appalachian State, 2-1, opening weekend.
- Charla Echols continued to stay hot at the plate and is now 8-for-9 on the season after last the win last night, which is the best start offensively by a Gator through three games played.
- Katie Chronister extended her scoreless inning streak out to 9.1 innings, which is the second longest of her career dating back to the 2017 and 2018 seasons.
- Elizabeth Hightower also extended her scoreless inning streak to 9.0 innings, which is just 2.1 innings shy of her career long of 11.2 innings she set in 2019.

2021 Florida Softball COVID-19 Guidelines
- In accordance with campus guidelines, face coverings (over the nose and mouth) will be required of all guests throughout the entire game, except during times of eating or drinking only.
- Public tailgating and gatherings will not be permitted on UF campus this spring.
- Inside the stadium fans will see new guidelines, signage, and enhanced cleaning procedures throughout.
- Physical distancing with limited seating and capacity will be in effect for all home contests.

Season tickets for the 2021 Florida softball season are sold out. However, single game tickets for the 2021 season may become available on a game-by-game basis. Fans that are looking to attend a Florida softball game at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium can check for single game ticket availability the day of the game by contacting the Gators Ticket Office at (352) 375-4683 or through resale ticket exchange on Ticketmaster.
