GAINESVILLE, Fla. – No. 5 Florida is set to host No. 23 UCF in a midweek contest at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium. The game is set to be streamed via the SEC Network + with Kyle Crooks and Francesca Enea on the call.

The Gators (30-4) and the Knights (29-9) met earlier this season in highly-contested matchup in Orlando that resulted in an 8-6 decision in favor of the home team UCF. The Knights bested the Gators with a three-run 7th inning that ended with a walk-off home run by Karissa Ornelas.

Since that game, Florida has posted a 9-1 record and is hitting .311 (80-for-257) with 12 doubles, a triple and 15 home runs. The pitching staff also holds a 1.70 ERA and .187 opposing batting average through the last 66.0 innings.

Conversely, UCF has posted a 9-3 record and is hitting .278 (93-335) with 14 doubles and 12 home runs, while their pitching staff has posted a 2.10 ERA and .234 opposing batting average over 86.1 innings pitched.

Both teams also enter the matchup with win streaks as Florida has won its' last five games, while UCF has won four-straight. UF clinched the series at then-ranked No. 20 Georgia with a pair of wins, bested USF in both games of last week's doubleheader and took a game against Western Kentucky this past Saturday. UCF is coming off of a four-game series sweep at Eastern Carolina, which includes back-to-back shutout victories.

Individually over the last ten games, Hannah Adams (.452) and Emily Wilkie (.438) have posted .400-plus averages at the plate, while Kendyl Lindaman (.360), Cheyenne Lindsey (.344) and Julia Cottrill (.310) hold averages over the .300 mark. Close to the .300 mark through the last 10 games is Charla Echols (.296), but the Newnan, Ga. native is batting a blistering .462 over the last five games with five home runs and 13 RBI.

Fans can also listen to tomorrow's action on ESPN 98.1 FM/850 AM WRUF with Ryan Urquhart and Marty Pallman on the call.
