Former Penn State guard Myreon Jones, like each member of UF's incoming transfer classmates, was thoroughly productive at his previous stop.
Charting the Gators: Incoming vs Outgoing Numbers

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Over the last few days, I've rolled out introductory posts (see links below) to give Florida fans an idea of just what to expect from the four incoming transfers who officially signed with the Gators last week.
Part I: How Brandon McKissic Fits In
Part 2: How Myreon Jones Fits In
Part 3: How CJ Felder Fits In
Part 4: How Phlandous Fleming Fits In
The arrival of a pair of grad-transfers in Brandon McKissic and Phlandous Fleming, along with the straight-up transfers of Myreon Jones and CJ Felder will inject Coach Mike White's program with a pronounced infusion of experience. That's saying something when you consider where the Gators rated on that statistical front the last two seasons. According to KenPom.com advanced metrics, UF in 2020-21 rated 244th (out of 352 Division I teams), as well as 10th out of 14 Southeastern Conference teams in experience. In '19-20, the Gators were staggeringly youthful at 347th, which was last in the SEC.
The below "Tale of the Tape" lays the numbers out very plainly, if not profoundly. What they don't say (and I'll tell you now) are that the Florida outgoing numbers are disproportionately weighed by the loss of Louisville-bound junior shooting guard Noah Locke, whose three-year productivity accounts for 84.0 percent of the team's lost transfer starts, 70.5 percent of points, 61.8 percent of minutes, 94.0 percent of made 3-pointers and about half the rebounds (47.6 percent) and made free throws (54.5 percent).
None of the incoming UF players account for more than 39 percent in any of those categories.
This will be a proven and balanced bunch.
