Florida Adds Western Kentucky to Regular Season Schedule
Tuesday, April 6, 2021 | Softball
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Head Coach Tim Walton and the Florida softball program announced additions to the 2021 regular season schedule Tuesday afternoon with a pair of games against Western Kentucky at 11 a.m. this Saturday and Sunday at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium.
The additional games against the Hilltoppers will slightly alter the originally scheduled Saturday exhibition with Softball Canada as the 10-inning contest will now be a seven-inning game that is scheduled to still start at 1:30 p.m.
Western Kentucky will also take on Canada in an exhibition Saturday at 4 p.m.
Florida's games against Western Kentucky will be streamed online via the SEC Network + and Saturday's game can also be listened to live on 98.1 FM/850 AM WRUF, while the exhibition with Softball Canada and Sunday's WKU game will have audio streams found on FloridaGators.com.
Tickets previously purchased for Saturday will be valid for all three games that day and tickets are available to purchase now. Since Sunday's game is an addition to the schedule, tickets for Sunday's game against Western Kentucky will go on sale to mini season plan ticket holders Thursday, April 8, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, then will be available for purchase to the general public at 1 p.m. that same day.
