
Nicole Jones Named Senior Associate Athletics Director

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Nicole Jones has been named Senior Associate Athletic Director for Marketing, Fan Engagement and Branding at the University of Florida, UF Athletic Director Scott Stricklin announced.
Jones will lead the external units that include marketing, branding, creative video, photography, graphic design, in-venue scoreboard production, the fan experience, outbound ticket sales, and social media. Jones comes to Gainesville from her senior administrative post at the University of Delaware with prior stops at Duke, Wake Forest, and Notre Dame.
"We are excited to welcome Nicole to the leadership team," Stricklin said. "She is a versatile and talented administrator, with wide-ranging experiences at various schools. Nicole is a great addition to Gators athletics."
The 18-year administrator most recently served as the Senior Associate Director of Athletics for External Relations and Brand Management at the University of Delaware since 2019. Jones oversaw all the strategic development and execution within the external relations departments.

Prior to Delaware, Jones spent seven years at Duke, where she oversaw all marketing efforts for the men's basketball program and the day-to-day operations of the entire Sports Marketing and Promotions department.
Before Duke, Jones was the Director of Sports Marketing and Promotions at Wake Forest, where she had oversight of the marketing and social media responsibilities of all Demon Deacons programs, including football.
Jones started her career at Notre Dame, where she worked from 2003 to 2010. She graduated from Utah State in 2003 and earned her Master's degree from Indiana University in 2009. Jones has been a NACMA member since 2003 and has been a part of the Women Leaders in College Sports.
Nicole and her husband David Brochu have three children, daughters Madailein and Kennedy and son Emerson.
