Fuller Earns Spot on Preseason ANNIKA Award Watch List

Annabell Fuller received the recognition in back-to-back years.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - In the midst of concluding an unforgettable summer, Annabell Fuller was named to the Preseason ANNIKA Award Watch List, Golf Channel and Golfweek announced on Friday.
She was named to the watch list last year as she shot a career-low 66 in the final round of the Gator Invitational to claim her first career individual title. She ranked first on the team with eight rounds and four tournaments under park and a team-low scoring average of 72.68.
Created in 2014, the ANNIKA Award is annually given to the top female U.S. collegiate golfer; the winner voted on by players, coaches and members of the college golf media. Named for and presented by Annika Sorenstam, the award was created in partnership with the Haskins Foundation to acknowledge the top female golfer at the end of the season.
Fuller was recently selected as the No. 23 preseason female player by Golfchannel.com along with the Gators slotted at No. 19. A Second Team All-SEC member last season, her summer has featured her making the cut at the AIG Open and her second appearance for Great Britain and Irealand at the Curtis Cup.
The 2021-22 season tees off at the Cougar Classic on September 13-14 at Yeamans Hall Club, in Charleston, S.C.
