Holloway Named AAU James E. Sullivan Award Finalist

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gators Great and Olympic medalist Grant Holloway has been named a finalist for the 91st Amateur Athletic Union James E. Sullivan Award, the AAU announced earlier this week.
Voting for the award is now open to the public here, and fans can vote once per day until voting closes at 11:59 p.m. ET on Monday, Sept. 27.
The 2019 The Bowerman Winner is one of 38 athletes selected as finalists for the award that recognizes the nation's best amateur athlete based on the qualities of leadership, character and sportsmanship.
An eight-time NCAA champion with the Gators, Holloway made his Olympic debut earlier this year in Tokyo where he earned a silver medal in the 110-meter hurdles.
The AAU James E. Sullivan Award presentation will be held at the Rosen Centre in Orlando, Fla., on Friday, Oct. 22.
