Samantha Roe, a catcher from Destin, Fla., has early enrolled at Florida and is set to join the Gators for the 2022 season.
Roe to Join Gators for 2022 Season

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Head Coach Tim Walton and the Florida softball program have announced that Samantha Roe will join the program for the upcoming 2022 season.
Roe is now enrolled at the University of Florida after receiving her high school diploma this past December and is immediately eligible to compete.
"We are excited to have Samantha on campus and look forward to having her make an immediate impact this upcoming season." Walton said. "She's worked hard academically to make this opportunity of enrolling early a reality for herself and we look forward to helping her make the transition to succeeding as a freshman collegiate student-athlete here at Florida."
The Destin Fla. native signed with the Gators November 10, 2021.
