
Gator Dugout Club Holding Dec. 2 Golf Tournament and Silent Auction

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Gator Dugout Club's 2022 Golf Tournament has been rescheduled for Friday, Dec. 2 at Turkey Creek Golf Course in Alachua.
Registration for the event is currently open. Check-in begins at 7 a.m. on Dec. 2 and the tournament officially kicks off at 8 p.m. in the form of a shotgun start. As part of the tournament, the Dugout Club is also holding a 50/50 raffle, hole-in-one contest and a silent auction.
The silent auction will take place entirely online and went live on Monday, Nov. 7. This year's silent auction features a plethora of intriguing items, highlighted by a cabin vacation in Georgia. Also up for grabs are chairs, tables, coolers, barbecue tools, trivia calendars, gift cards, dog beds, various Gators memorabilia/gear and more.
Members of the 1988 UF baseball team will also be in attendance at the 2022 Gator Dugout Club Golf Tournament. The 1988 squad was the first Florida team to reach the College World Series.

The Gator Dugout Club is the official booster club for University of Florida Baseball. Governed by their Board of Directors, the Gator Dugout Club features over 300 members throughout the state of Florida and the southeast. The Club provides support for the baseball program in a variety of methods. Each baseball season begins with the Gator Dugout Club's annual preseason dinner with the players and coaches. Throughout the course of the season, the Club hosts tailgates, organizes away game travel for team support on the road, and provides philanthropic support through scholarship endowment and facility enhancement.
