Anna Hall Named USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Following her performance at the USATF Combined Events Championships this past weekend, Anna Hall was named the National Women's Athlete of the Week as announced by the USTFCCCA on Tuesday morning.
The Highlands Ranch, Colo. native scored 6458 points in the Heptathlon to win the U.S. title and secure her spot at the 2022 World Championships this summer.
Hall's performance was the second-best performance in collegiate history and extended her NCAA and World lead this season.
Throughout the seven-event competition, Hall set personal bests in the 100mH, 200 meters, 800 meters and the Long Jump.
Her mark in the 800 meters, 2:03.11, was the fourth-fastest Heptathlon 800 meters in World History.
Hall becomes the third Florida athlete to win the USTFCCCCA National Athlete of the Week honor this season. Jasmine Moore and Grace Stark were both recipients during the indoor season.
Florida will begin its postseason this week at the SEC Outdoor Championships with Hall scheduled to compete in the 400-meter hurdles and Long Jump.
