BIRMINGHAM, Ala. โ Joseph Fahnbulleh has been named SEC Men's Co-Runner of the Week following his performances at the LSU Invitational, the conference announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The Hopkins, Minn. native is kicking it into high gear as the postseason approaches. At the LSU Invitational, Fahnbulleh laid down a wind-legal 19.92 to match the collegiate lead in the 200 meters.
His mark of 19.92 is just .01 off his personal best that he ran at last year's NCAA Outdoor Championships.

He also finished fifth in a loaded field in the 100 meters in 10.17 (+3.0).
Fahnbulleh capped his 2021 season with an NCAA Outdoor National Championship in the 200 meters as well as an appearance in the 2020 Olympic Final in the 200 meters.
He heads into next week's SEC Outdoor Championships as the collegiate co-leader in the 200 meters as well as the anchor leg for the fastest 4x100 team in the NCAA (38.47).
