
Four Gator Track & Field Athletes Graduate Saturday Morning

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gators Track & Field athletes Jalen Chance, Anna Hall, Michael Holloway II and Jacory Patterson will precess across the Stephen C. O'Connell Center stage on Saturday to receive their respective degrees.
Chance, Hall, Holloway and Patterson will all receive their bachelors' degrees on Saturday morning. Chance and Holloway will graduate from the University of Florida with a degree in telecommunication, Hall will receive her degree in Business Administration and Gender Studies and Patterson will receive a degree in Education Sciences.

Gators Graduate Notes:
- Chance set his outdoor long jump personal best at the 2021 Tom Jones Memorial with a leap of 7.58m/24'10.5" earning him a third-place finish. Chance set records in the indoor long jump (7.60m/24'11.25") and the triple jump (14.99m/49'2.25") at the 2022 Tyson Invitational and 2020 South Carolina Gamecock Opener respectively. Chance was placed on the 2020 SEC Men's All-Freshman Team for the long jump.
- In her one year spent with the Gators, Anna Hall notched two NCAA Individual Championships and a SEC Championship while also being a contributing member of the Women's Track & Field team that swept both the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Team Championships. Hall currently holds the Gators all time record in four different events (heptathlon, pentathlon, outdoor 400m hurdles, outdoor high jump). Hall was also named a Bowerman Finalist and USTFCCCA Outdoor National Women's Field Athlete of the Year for her outstanding season.
- Holloway set his outdoor triple jump personal best at the 2022 Pepsi Florida Relays with a jump of 14.79m/48'6.25". He set his long jump personal best a year later at the 2023 FSU Relays with a jump of 7.33/24'0.75" earning him a fifth-place finish. Holloway set records in the indoor long jump (6.69m/22'10") and triple jump (15.76m/51'8.5") at the 2020 South Carolina Gamecock Opener and the 2023 SEC Indoor Championships respectively. Holloway was placed on the 2021 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll for his excellence in the classroom.
- Patterson is a nine time All-American, two time NCAA Outdoor Champion in the 4x400 relay and a three time SEC Champion. Patterson was named 2023 Sec Indoor Men's Runner of the Year after being the highest point scorer at the SEC Indoor Championships meet courtesy of a first place finish in the 200m (20.29) and a second place finish in the 400 (45.05). Patterson was also a member of a 4x400m relay team that took home first place at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Championships, securing the Gators second consecutive National Championship in recording breaking fashion.
