
Fuller Leads Florida in Day One of Spring Opener

Annabell Fuller went 1-under in round one to lead the Gators out west.
PALOS VERDES, Calif. - Annabell Fuller led the Florida women's golf team on day one of the Therese Regional Challenge on Sunday.
Marina Escobar found her groove right away and made birdie on the first hole. The senior then posted four-straight (holes 13-15) and had two pars and five birdies in the first seven holes. She wrapped up her round just a stroke over par with a 72 (+1) to place T17.
Tied for 10th, Annabell Fuller shot a 70 (-1) at Palos Verdes Golf Club. She only carded one bogey as she notched two birdies and 14 pars. The London native was one of 12 golfers in the field to shoot under par today.
Rounding out the lineup, Jackie Lucena is T73 with Maisie Filler and Taylor Roberts T76.
Florida is in 14th and will tee off round two at 1 p.m. ET tomorrow.
