
Ashley Klingenberg, Advait Page to Meet at SEC Student-Athlete Advisory Council This Weekend

Klingenberg, Page head to SAAC Annual Meeting Friday and Saturday at the SEC offices in Birmingham.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Twenty-seven members of the Southeastern Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC), including Florida track and field member Ashley Klingenberg and Florida swimming and diving member Advait Page, will gather for an annual meeting Friday and Saturday at the SEC offices in Birmingham, Ala.
The meeting will serve as an opportunity for the student-athletes to engage with campus leaders and conference office staff. Along with Student-Athlete Leadership Councils for football and men's and women's basketball, SAAC provides a conduit of communication to the conference office on issues related to student-athlete experience, student-athlete wellness and playing rules.
Klingenberg is the Co-Director of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee at Florida. The Altamonte Springs, Florida native was also a member of the 2022 SEC Outdoor Championship team last season.
A senior from Indore, India, Page is a three-time SEC Academic Honor Roll member, and a two-time CSCAA Scholar All-American. In the win over Florida State on Jan. 20, he swam in the 200 back, taking fourth.
Agenda items for the SEC SAAC meeting include a leadership development presentation by Jason Martinez, a conversation and dinner with SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey, a review of NCAA and SEC legislative items, and an open discussion on SAAC campus programming. The group will also have the opportunity for a conversation with SEC Chief Medical Advisor Dr. Katie O'Neal. Current SEC SAAC member Brynn Carlson will provide an update from the NCAA Division I Student-Athlete Advisory Council.
