Florida Lacrosse Releases 2025 Schedule

The Gators will play eight home game and take on six teams who made the NCAA Tournament in 2024.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida lacrosse team has released their 2025 schedule, as they enter their 16th season as a program. The Gators will open up their season on Feb. 7 on the road against Johns Hopkins. UF holds a 240-60 all-time record under Head Coach Amanda O'Leary.
The Gators will play 17 total games and host eight home outings, with their home opener occurring on Feb. 9 against Kennesaw State. UF holds a 134-23 all-time home record at Donald R. Dizney Stadium.
Florida will play against six team who were in the NCAA Tournament last season (Johns Hopkins, North Carolina, James Madison, Loyola, Mercer and Penn) and seven teams who finished in the end of season IWLCA/ILWomen Top-25 (Johns Hopkins (12), North Carolina (19), James Madison (16), Loyola (11), Navy (20) Penn (7) and Colorado (22)).
UF will compete against two teams they have never played against, taking on South Florida on Feb. 18 and traveling to Clemson on March 20.
The Orange and Blue enter a new conference in 2025, as they will take their talents to the Big 12 for the conference's inaugural season for the sport of lacrosse. Their Big 12 opener will be on the road at UC Davis on March 28. The Big 12 conference tournament will take place in Boulder, Colo. on May 1 & 3 at Prentup Field. This will be the Gators fourth conference, holding an all-time program record of 83-7 in conference play.
The Gators are coming off a 20-3 season, where they made their second NCAA Final Four in program history. They return 23 players from last year's team, while bringing in 11 freshmen and three transfers.
