Jalen Hudson Earns Master's Degree

Jalen Hudson has earned his Master's degree in sport management from the University of Florida. Hudson earned his bachelor's in journalism with focus on telecommunications in 2018 and began working on his Master's while playing at UF.
Hudson played two seasons at Florida from 2017-19, transferring in from Virginia Tech, and his 861 points rank No. 3 all-time among Gator transfers. He averaged 12.3 points per game and hit 122 3-pointers, helping lead the Gators to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in both 2018 and 2019.
His memorable 35-point effort in the Gators' double-overtime 111-105 win against Gonzaga in Portland earned Hudson one of his three career SEC Player of the Week honors. He also posted a 33-point game on Senior Night vs. LSU that is tied for the sixth-highest scoring performance by a Gator at the O'Connell Center.
The Akron, Ohio, native earned SEC Academic Honor Roll recognitions during both of his seasons competing for the Gators and first-year SEC Academic Honor Roll during his sit-out season.
Hudson competed in the NBA G League for one season with the Capital City Go Go in Washington, D.C., before embarking on his overseas playing career.
